How Solar Electricity Works

Solar Panels are mounted on your roof. These then convert sunlight into DC electricity; this DC electricity then runs through to a cable to an inverter that changes it from DC electricity to AC electricity- the same as the power coming from the grid, or power main that we use in our homes. We don’t need full sun to generate power - good solar just needs daylight. There is no noise; no building permits necessary and no reflection into your neighbour’s property.
